Paul-san, are you thinking what I am thinking?
When you don't know what a word means, try a dictionary?
Anyone unwilling to make this effort with a known language shouldn't even consider learning a new one. I know my nose spends a significant portion of the day buried in my dictionarieS Looking up new words is an ingrained response. I won't even allow myself to procrastinate it. I must look up the word while my brain is still curious.
Trust me OP, for you, learning Japanese is dame.
Turn back now, while you still can.
