RE: Might move to japan
If TJP were to sponsor a contest where the winner won a bunch of money, I think the stereotypical exclamation of joy from the winner would not be "I'm going to Disney Land!" but instead "I'm moving to Japan!"

If I won a ship load of money there is no way I would waste it going to Disney Land, not even Tokyo Disney. I fail to understand this fascination that teenagers (mostly American?) have with wanting to go and live in Japan. Do they read manga and watch anime and think "wow Japan is really cool, I must go and live there"?

I think no one realizes how many wierdos live here. I mean, apart from the fact that Japan attracts some of the strangest outcasts from foreign societies, the Japanese themselves are quite full of odd-balls. I recently had to do a public survey for school in which I had to go out on the street and ask people to answer questions. It was kind of fun at first, then it got really scary. Some people actually got angry!
And there's an incredible amount of unattractive people too. So many people think it's all pop idols and porn stars, but people that look like that are really the vast minority...
In other words, it's exactly the same as anywhere else.

To understand the answer, you have to understand the question. But that will take another 10 million years.

...Quoting a sci-fi book (movie) on a message board, one line per post, is not at all geeky.

I would point out that it was actually a radio play first but that would show just how old this geek is
