for young members only
Since there are quite a few young members around, I thought I'd let you know:
on 101, if you place a comment to intermediate lesson 84, (oshougatsu with grandpa and grandma) this week, you can win a free 6 month premium subsription. It's for 'kids' only (under 18?) and 2 winners will be chosen.
All in all not a bad deal, I think.
Only, I think you have to get a trial subscription before you can post a comment. Not too sure about this....

Thanks!
I posted a comment, and I'm not on a trial sibsciption.
Hehe, now all I can do is hope I win.

{BUMP for the benefit of our younger audience, there's only about 3 days left...}
You just need to have signed up at least for the trial to post in their forum. By signing up, though, you do gain access to the premium content as well. The forum is the only reason I signed up for their sister site EP101. That site is targeted at japanese speakers learning English. Most of the lessons have discussion in Japanese, and it makes great listening practice.
Edit: Add direct link to the lesson referenced by the OP. No subscription required to comment, however I am uncertain if one is needed for the contest.

I doubt if you're required to have a subscription already. It wasn't mentioned in the lesson.
And they are VERY zealous in their campaign for new members....^_^
But that is a good tip concerning EP101! I was planning on listening to a few, but I haven't really taken time out for it yet. Now that I know it's Japanese discussions, I'll lend them an ear for sure!
Thanks.
Hope these sentences are correct, it's late and I'm having trouble focusing....or maybe I'm just in need of EP...whatever...I'm starting to talk nonsense, time to log off.

(should I be using kanji for this? It looked weird...)
