Re: Japanese Font Installer ( NJStar Communicator )
Is this freeware, or are you sharing it illegally?
EDIT: From the looks of NJStar.com, it seems that this is NOT freeware. If mods could delete the links, that'd probably be a good idea.

Re: Japanese Font Installer ( NJStar Communicator )
Which is all beyond the point of why you would NEED a Japanese font installer.
I mean, Japanese fonts are just regular TTF fonts. You install them like any other.
FINDING the fonts, though, that's a different matter.
And yes, mods, please come in and destroy these links and SN.

NJStar Communicator is not a font installer.
NJStar Communicator enables Chinese, Japanese and Korean (CJK) language input, display, print and conversions on your English or other western Windows. There is no need to reboot or install a separate Microsoft Chinese/Japanese/Korean Windows any more!
NJStar Communicator Includes:
NJStar CJK Multilingual Viewer
NJStar Chinese Input Method Editor
NJStar Japanese Input Method Editor
NJStar Korean Input Method Editor
NJStar Universal Code Convertor
NJStar Express Mail - Send CJK message as Picture
NJStar SMTP local server for Express Mail
That is why it sells for USD99.
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

Re: Japanese Font Installer ( NJStar Communicator )
I remember using NJStar back in college, but that was before the IME was readily available.
Is what it does really that different than the IME?
Also, the reason I thought it might be a font installer made by NJStar is because that's what's written in the subject line.

I realise that. I wasn't having a shot at you, just letting you know what it NJStar is.Harisenbon wrote:.... the reason I thought it might be a font installer made by NJStar is because that's what's written in the subject line.
I've never used it myself so I don't know how much better than the Windoze IME it is.

Getting pirated software from your "cyber friends" is doing something wrong. Sharing software, whether pirated by you personally or passed on from your "cyber friends", is doing something wrong. Encouraging other people to use pirated software is doing something wrong.
