I use a Windows PC, so this list is made with a Windows user in mind.

Make your computer Japanese-capable

Hello, I have a problem with making my computer Japanese-capable, because on my PC is installed Windows XP and I have Word 2007, Excel 2007... so I can´t install that software onto my PC.... Do you know for any other software, which is similar to this one and which should be capable for Windows XP....

You don't need to install that on WinXP because your computer already comes with it (although you might need the Windows CD).

This guide will walk you through it, except of course instead of Chinese, choose Japanese.

Here's another guide which seems to be more detailed, though I've only glanced at both of them.

Sorry for disturbing, but I didn´t succeed with it.... I have found out that I can´t install Japanese language on WinXP, because I don´t have original Windows CD...So is there any other way???

Hi, I am a newbie in Japanese, I was only learning French and Spanish and I can't deny these languages are pretty much close to each one so Japanese is a whole different world. So as any other language, I started learning Japanese with grammar and basic dictionary. But I wanted your advice as Japanese is a whole different world. I've been reading a lot of guidelines on general tips like
http://www.wikihow.com/Learn-Japanese
http://www.askwiki.net/How-to-Learn-Japanese
http://www.tofugu.com/2012/07/02/how-to ... -anything/
What do you guys think? Should I change the scheme I am sticking to? Which one of these guidelines is the most effective one? Thanks a lot!
