Vocabulary/Lessons

Hi,
I am new here and I just wanted to know if anybody knows any place with good vocabulary lessons. I have been wanting to learn Japanese for a few(2 years) now. I have Hiragana and Katakana down, but I can not find any place with good lessons. I do not have any Japanese books yet, I am planing to buy one, but I want to get the basics down before I start. In example: Numbers, Greetings, Basic Grammar, Colours ect. ect. Hope some one can help me.

Note: Also, does anyone know of any good Internet Japanese tests I could do online or print off? Thanks again.
