View topic - how to make sentences?
Some basics... japanese only requires you to have a verb, and the verb goes at the end of the sentence.
The particles all denote parts of speech. Topic, subject, direct object, indirect object, destination, origination point, and so on. There's pretty much a particle or combination particle for every situation.
Just browse through the particles section at Nihongo Resources to get an idea.
Because of this delineation of parts of speech with particles, a japanese sentence can be in any order.
You're going to want to go through grammar lessons to begin learning how to make sentences. I would like to suggest the lessons here on TJP or Tae Kim's Guide.
