Mini Japanese test

Mini Japanese Test (HARD)
... or at least I'd like to think it was hard because I didn't score very well on it.

What? There were only 20 question. But I got 40 something points if thats what your referring to. Maybe it's because you don't study anymore so you lost the ability to take tests? J/K

Some of the questions were strange like "Pull a frying pot."

I could blame careless mistakes and the temperature but to be honest that would only account for a few points difference.

Tricky. Since this test is made to trick native speakers, I think a score in the 30s to 40s range isn't too bad :) (I am saying that to make me feel better as well as everyone else. I came in with a 46 and a 語彙が弱点 message)

語彙が弱点 語彙が弱点 語彙が弱点 語彙が弱点 語彙が弱点 語彙が弱点

Mine was 文法が弱点. In fact just about all my right answers were on the left, if you see what I mean. ;-)

I made some lucky guesses and was able to pull off a 96. (I missed the first kanji question in the second section.)

The secret to keigo seems to be finding the right point between politeness and overkill.

Some of the questions were strange like "Pull a frying pot."

How about "Oil a frying pan." ;)

Nice test, thanks for sharing that with us. I was really shocked, I got 60. I guessed a few, and even couldn't read a few of the questions completely.
My message was かなづかいが弱点
楽しかったですね。:)

The ones that got me were all the "How do you spell this in Katakana" and "which of these words is an original Japanese word"

poo.
