Mini Japanese test
Mini Japanese Test (HARD)
... or at least I'd like to think it was hard because I didn't score very well on it.

What? There were only 20 question. But I got 40 something points if thats what your referring to. Maybe it's because you don't study anymore so you lost the ability to take tests? J/K
Some of the questions were strange like "Pull a frying pot."

heh, if paul did badly, I'm afraid to even try
I could blame careless mistakes and the temperature but to be honest that would only account for a few points difference.

RE: Mini Japanese test
Tricky. Since this test is made to trick native speakers, I think a score in the 30s to 40s range isn't too bad
(I am saying that to make me feel better as well as everyone else. I came in with a 46 and a 語彙が弱点 message)

In fact just about all my right answers were on the left, if you see what I mean.

RE: Mini Japanese test
I made some lucky guesses and was able to pull off a 96. (I missed the first kanji question in the second section.)
The secret to keigo seems to be finding the right point between politeness and overkill.
How about "Oil a frying pan."

Nice test, thanks for sharing that with us. I was really shocked, I got 60. I guessed a few, and even couldn't read a few of the questions completely.
My message was かなづかいが弱点
楽しかったですね。:)
