Have a textbook or grammar book that you find particularly helpful? What about a learning tip to share with others?

Learning strategies

Post by Yumiko125 » Wed 10.18.2006 9:39 pm

I have been having the hardest time with Japanese vocabulary and kana. I have no clue of how I could study, or any tips to help me study better. Can anyone help?

I tend to look to see if there are any useful words that I've seen or that I think I'll use a lot and search them up, then make a couple sentences from it. Then make it part of your normal usage.

Hmmm, I watched the Lord of the Rings 1 & 2 and translated random dialogue into simple Japanese...that's a fun way to do it. ^_^
