こんにちはみなさん
私はヘレンです。わたしはロンドンに住んでいます。私は1年ぐらい日本語を勉強しました。日本語はおもしろいです.そして楽しいです。私は主人に去年に東京へ行きました。
(what I tried to say!)
I am Helen. I live in London. I have studied Japanese for about a year. I think Japanese is interesting and fun. My husband and I visited to Tokyo last year.
My Japanese is still very basic but I enjoy learning a little more every week!

TJPへようこそヘレンさん!
I think your Japanese is at least as good or better than mine.
(I could read your Japanese just fine until the last part... I got a little lost there.
)
よろしくおねがいします。

Welcome, I have a few corrections for you if you dont mind
1.日本語を勉強しました As this is written it sounds like you studied Japanese for about a year, then stopped, What I think you're going for , judging from your english translation is this
日本語を勉強しています.I have been studying Japanese for a year(and am still doing it)
2.私は主人に去年に東京へ行きました。
私は主人と去年に東京へ行きました。
Good Luck, with your studies. I am still somewhat a beginner/ early intermediate, so take these corrections with a grain of salt

Thanks for the corrections! What's the difference between the -te form of the verbs and the -masu ones? We haven't gotten up to that yet in my course and I have been curious about it.

Re: こんにちはみなさん
te form has literally tons of functions, rather than attempting to explain them all, as i dont know them all, I'll just explain what I showed you.
verb te form +iru/imasu continuous action
tabete iru
I am eating
Nonde iru
I am drinking
Benkyoushite iru
I am studying

TJPへようこそ

Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there
