Hello, 今日は、etcetera.
Hello! I am new here, and somewhat new to the Japanese language as a whole. I find the Japanese language and, in fact all languages fascinating. I know little Japanese and a small amount of French as well, and hope to expand my knowledge of both and perhaps learn more (particularly German, Swedish, and Korean.)
As for my knowledge of Japanese, I know basic vocabulary and grammar. I know all hiragana, and most katakana, though I occasionally have to look some up. I know about 30 kanji, and hope to know more after I have mastered katakana.
I am very interested in music, and compose my own. I play the bassoon, the clarinet, and the piano.
音楽が大好きです。
(I hope that was correct.)

Welcome to TJP!
( Just as a side note even though the kanji is technically correct, I assume you were saying こんにちは but 今日は is usually read as きょうは while こんにちは is left as kana )

TJPへようこそ

Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there
