Hi :wave: I'm excited to start learning Japanese. It piqued my interest when I got into reading anime fanfiction. I find the culture is interesting in general.

Anime is what originally started me learning Japanese many years ago... and then I took a long hiatus before returning to it because by then I was really in love with the culture. :)

Glad to have you aboard! :wave:

(also, I hope you don't mind a tiny spelling correction, as it's a word people don't write very often: piqued (gotta love English!))
