Hello, I'm glad to have joined up with this site. I'm hoping to learn to read/write/speak Japanese. If anyone has any tips that can help me, I'd much appreciate it. I'm 23 and an American, and it's a lifes goal of mine to visit Japan one day. I do hope to learn the langauge before I visit. However, whenever I try to open the Hiragana lessons page, my internet browser freezes up and I need to close. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there an update that I need to get?

Could you let me know which browser and which version you're using?

Like Firefox 4, Internet Explorer 9, Chrome 11, etc... it might be something as simple as just needing to update your version of Flash Player. It shouldn't be anything inherently wrong with the page/browser... just something being buggy (which is usually something like Flash).
