Hey Richard im new here to!(Just yesterday in fact) And I live in NC! And im sixteen! Whoa, thats twilight zone material for you there. Anyway, I just wanted to know where would be a good place to start for a noob like me. I already know some hiragana and kana.

P.S. How do you pronounce "R"?

The Japanese "r" sound is somewhere between the English "l" and "r", its called an alveolar tap. See here with cool diagrams :D
