No, I Don't Ride Polar Bears

Postby All Hail Hot-Pink Snowbun » Sat 03.11.2006 3:38 pm

Hi, my name's Heather and I'm from Alaska. (no, no igloos, sorry) I've always been really interested in Japan, and last month I got this scholarship, along with 9 other students, to go to Japan this September (2006) for 10 months. I'll be attending a high school and stuff. (I'm really excited :D) I'm studying hard so that my Japanese will be good enough by the time I go (I never really knew much Japanese before now...), so any advice anyone has would be very appreciated. :) This website is very helpful, but I'll probably still have a lot of questions. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. :) See you around the site!

I'm jealous too! :D I wish I could go. I'd love to go there. It seems like the more I learn about Japan, the more I want to go there.

I probably won't be much help, as I know little about Japanese right now. But good luck to you!
