I'm new, and not so good with forums, so if I goof something up, my apologies ahead of time. Er . . . I'm trying to learn Japanese, but it isn't going so well. I hope by coming here I can learn better. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome. If you have questions feel free to ask. I would recommend getting a kyoukasho (textbook.) I am using the Genki series and am almost halfway through book 1 in about 2 1/2 months.

I have two textbooks. I am using the Learn the Basics series and the Japanese Coursebook that was supposedly used to train government people. I don't believe it for a minute but yes . . .
