Registered on the forum and figured I should at least say Hello! (or Konnichiwa! as the case may be). 
I'm hoping to learn Japanese for three reasons:
- Watching anime in its original language,
- Making kendo terms easier to learn, understand, and pronounce,
- And in preparation for my dream of visiting Japan someday.
