Heylas, there I just got done reading the very superior 日本語のカタチとココロ. A book aimed at common Japanese folks about the Japanese langauge, that was fairly simple to read.Covering things like why Japanese have conversations like they do, keigo's mysteries、 the power of kanji Etc. Difference between は AND が。

I want more now! particularly interesting things like the differences between
different kanji readings(aka じん means all people にん, means some people in 人)Does anyone have any recommendations at all on books that are aimed a a general audience(not linguist experts/university students) On the Japanese language, written in Japanese?
