Doodling

I just drew this in around 30 minutes after doing a bit of work, and decided to make a thread for doodling. A childish idea? Yes. But it's always fun to share art, which I haven't yet done much of on this forum. So, come TJP, and show off your doodles.
Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

Sweet that is so good, but the gun kind of ruins it for me.

GUITARPLAYER, you obviously haven't heard of sci-fi then. dragons exist across the fantasy- sci-fi realms and are only limited to the extent of your imagination.

to be honest, i was imagining that to be a crossbow. either way, that Hero, is in some serious trouble. ..

nice work tspoonami

Heh, the entire Pern series by anne mccaffrey is Sci-fi not fantasy. It doesn't appear that way at first, but as you read the series, you realize it was a planet colonized from Earth.

Personally, I think there was entirely too much effort in the OP to call it a doodle. After about 5 minutes of effort, it stops being a doodle by the definition I'd always used. Not used to seeing dragons with such developed forearms, but variety is good too.

By my saying that it ruined it for me I meant that I prefer my heroes to be medieval.

Thank you everyone!

... But maybe more people should be posting their art? That's really the point of this thread. I've been dying to see some of TJP's closet artists come out into the open, because I know they are out there.

Thank you! Your drawing reminds me of a Bharatanatyam dancing position. You have a good character design there, but you certainly need to work on anatomy, unless you want a very cartoony look (such as more American style cartoons). The trick is to draw a lot of random things over and over and over, and you will pick up subtle things very quickly... Believe me, I couldn't have drawn that dragon thing a year ago, but I spent the year drawing almost every night before going to bed, and it really helped.

Good job!

I love drawing. I love that dragon. It's really great. Well, anyway, here you go:

I did this last night in about 10 minutes, hence the presence of the things that shouldn't be there.

I really like drawing, I just wish I were good at it =_=. I'm /okay/ at drawing little circle heads, rectangle bodies, and line-and-circle arms, but ehh =p
