Japanese AP Test
Hey guys, I'm sure this pops up every know and then, but here is my version. I'm a study freak who wants to learn Japanese, but my high school won't bother to give me a class and none of the colleges around offer it. In other words I'm forced to basically learn it on my own, except for a few basic continueing education courses that got me really going. Still I know next to nothing about Japanese except a few kanji and the hiragana and katakana. I want to take the AP test when it comes around, which given my current state is going to encompuses a lot of studying. Since the test is so new though, I've heard there are no text books out for it, nor is there a lot of information. If anyone has taken it or just has basic study tips I'd appreciate it.

The pdf has some basic stuff that shows up. Also it gives a list of the kanji tested. From what I know the test is somewhere in between JLPT2 and JLPT3 (if that has any significance to you). I remember there being some practice questions in one of those sites. From your current level it might be quite difficult to self study to the level required by the test but not impossible. I'm taking it next year and this is about the most information I know.
