If England win their next two matches, which would be most likely Portugal after Ecuador, theres a high chance they'll meet Brazil. Oh dear. >.<

They've already admitted they are finding it difficult to cope without Owen, I wonder how well they'll do today? I don't want to take my flag down yet!!

Wow I don't think Portugal could've given England any bigger of an advantage than today. 2 Red cards and an injury to Christiano Ronaldo and Ricardo. That match was intense and full of cards, just what England could've hoped for.

It's payback time for 2004:@

The Dutch were unfortunate not to get a goal in that match...they pressured Portugal so much but were so unlucky on goal. Maybe in 2010:|

becks23 - I am amazed you haven't said anything about "The Kick" yet. It was an amazing shot in a clutch situation.

we lost :( damn portugese footballplayers. The second half was aggressive and horrible. We couldn't play football because either the referree stopped the game or there was a portugese on the floor (the referree also stopped the game in those situations:))

Damn, I hate this...

I agree with you Reno. The win should have been to the Netherlands.. don't worry, England will give them a thrashing for you. ; )

i expect them to make the 2nd round but not much further

...England are into the quarter-finals now ; )

This is why England have to win... I changed my wallpaper for them! Lol! But then I can't really decide whether I want them to win or Brazil...it's a hard choice!

England all the way, Brazil is good but that just makes it a tough opponent.
I don´t want Brazil to win just because they´re good :)

:oLOL I suppose I have been rather silent about it. Would you like an unbiased opinion or biased??

Biased: Absolutely stunning, mesmerizing, and all out perfect. Vintage David Beckham:p

Unbiased: Absolutely stunning, mesmerizing, and all out perfect. Vintage David Beckham:p He always comes through with clutch goals every World Cup. 98 was Columbia. 02 Qualifier was Greece. 02 was Argentina:p Will he be there for 2010?? One can only hopeB)

I like that way of thinking. Though honestly I want France:@ to beat Brazil:| so we can play them in the Semi Finals:) France:@ How I dislike them so...and I speak the language:o

In all truth...it should be Australia v Ukraine. Italy have no right being there under the circumstances they're there. A dive is a dive and that was more obvious than Adriano's. I hate to see a nation go out in such pitiful fashion, especially when they worked so hard and defied odds to get there. A true shame=(
