だいじょうぶ I'm not happy with the fact my country controls a match for 120mins and loses on penalties. So frustrating.

I was neutral in the England Portugal match but then England had been playing shite football all tournament so they got what was coming to them. As for the France Brazil match...GREAT JOB FRANCE!!!!!!!! and so long to those arrogant samba dancers who think they play the game so beautifully or whatever. France outplayed them in every way and took away the well-deserved win.

True that France deserved every bit of that win...but Brasil DOES play beautiful football. When they are on form, they are magic.

I still can't believe Brazil lost, its like 98' all over again. Either way France did a great job both on defense and offense, well deserved win for them. Brazil was focused way to much on defense, but they left alot of openings. Well good job France I guess I'll be supporting them now that they beat my team. Last Cup for Zidane, it would be good to leave with the world cup in hand.

Also was it just me or was the ref a yellow card maniac, he loves yellow!!!

I hardly noticed a card. The Netherlands Portugal game must have desensitized me...

I am too biased to say admit that France played good. Stupid Zidane or whatever... hmph. He rendered Ronaldinho speechless, nobody is allowed to do that. >.<

Well, I'm not a football fan, but France played well, and so did Zidane, who was elected man of the match :well deserved, because he did some extraordinary things with the ball.... more fun, it was quite hard to sleep afterwards, because of fans crossing Paris with horns blasting, and gathering on the Champs Elysées to rejoice. I met my american neighbours on our adjoining balconies, and though they're not too keen on football, they seemed to appreciate what was going on...
Well, one more week to go.... Not bad for a team that was deemed to be doomed, full of "has-beens" too old to follow the ball for more than 20 mn.

OMG, this World Cup is getting weirder and weirder by the second. This will be a real different outcome.
Good luck with studying everybody and I hope one day I will be able to pick it back up.

Until then, a nice goodbye from me to you ;)

I feel that way too...must be a British thing:p Anytime Brasil is held to ONE SHOT ON GOAL in a game tells you they weren't at their best.

I'm devestated. 58 Caps as Captain...he was so close to 60(He would've had it if we got there:@) Such a pitiful weekend...:( Becks deserved a proper send off, unfortunate we couldn't deliver that.

I don't follow soccer. But, after the unbeliveable things some german newspapers wrote, I'm extremely happy to say they had what they deserved.
How can you say they deserved to win?? They made 1 decent kick. Italian made much more and went really close 2 times. Ahah are you envious? :p
