Oh yeah, this may seem sort of "weird" but I sort of look up to Edgar Allan Poe as my "literary hero". I like his writing a lot and he has gone through such a tough life of losing four women he has loved well and is actually a really nice man.

nothing weird about haveing a literary hero,
Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien Tolkien....LOTR
you get my point.....

I think Purple Heart just got ungrounded and that's why we're suddenly flooded with these posts after a long period of peace.

"And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and d let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth"

I don't know the person's name, but I respect people that think big and long term.

I guess if I must name a name, then my hero is Eve. She saw a chance to be a god and took it.

I like Feynman, not so much for his great scientific mind for which he is so deservedly famous, but rather for his being a Hell-of-a-Guy to boot.

but if your heart is in the right place you'd definitely pick Zeo

Haha, thanks mate. ^^

My hero? I don't know for sure. There is lots of people that could be my hero.

Here on the page one of my heroes would have to be Daisuke, for helping me out with japanese when I studied it and being a great friend. Coco as well, whenever I had a question I could always come to her to get an answer. Clay, of course, for creating this page and trusting me to help him out.

There is many artist I look up to, but not quite sure if I could call them my heroes. I do not know who to mention... Dan Milligan, Andrew Jones and lots of others.

I am sure I have forgot something, or someone. :p

So, I do not have one exact hero, but many people that means something to me. :)

He's done some pretty cool stuff unrelated to his career, too.

I really enjoy Poe's poem "Annabel Lee". Actually, I've only read a few of his poems besides "The Raven", but I've enjoyed all of the ones I've read.

I guess I've never given much thought to who my heroes are, if any. I'm a fan of John Stuart Mill, though. After reading On Liberty, I thought he was very ahead of his time.

nice quadruple post...
Two muffins were baking in an oven. One turns to the other and says "sure is hot in here." The other replies "AH TALKING MUFFIN!"

二つのマフィンがオーブンで焼かれていた。片方のマフィンがもう一方のマフィンに向かって、"暑いね”と言った。すると、話しかけられたほうのマフィンは"アッ!喋るマフィンだ!”と驚いた。 :)

My hero.... Gosh, I really don't know.

I certainly look up to several people in ym life, family and friends, most of them in my generation. One of my best friends went through a lot in school and pulled through somehow, and I think she's a really strong person.

One of my cousin's is another person I could consider an inspiration. She has many, many health problems, and needs a weelchair. They didn't think she'd live past the age of 5, and here she is, close to 25. She's a really sweet person, and always happy.

There's also my grandfather. He was really strong and brave during WWII, and was taken prisoner of the Nazis and almost died. He also worked really hard to support his large family, and hardly missed a day of work in 40 years (if at all... o.o)

There are so many people I respect. These really are only a few who've caused a difference in my life.
