I am Dutch and looking for a Japanese site about dogs and puppies. Can you give me a site in English? And also a Japanese site in English like e bay?

Hi, welcome to the site. I don't know about dog websites, but E-bay left the Japanese market a few years ago. I guess it just didn't catch on.

I am not sure which auction site is the largest in Japan now, but in the past we used Yahoo Auctions a lot: http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/

Oops you said 'in English'. Well, I doubt there is such a site unless you are looking for Sayonara Sales from foreigners leaving Japan.

There is the Japanese internet, and there is the rest-of-the-world internet.

Generally, the Japanese internet is not in English.

And for most Japanese, the non-Japanese internet may as well not even exist. The best way to visualize the way Japan uses the internet is to imagine the entire population of Japan standing in a circle lining the shores, holding hands.....and all facing inland.
