Cricket World Cup 2007
I tried to watch pre-season MLB game about two weeks ago with
no luck because the stream failed to work so I figured that I could
might as well check out the what's deal with that cricket sport since
there was world cup going on and working streams available.
"There's batting in cricket too, I'll give it a shot." I got hooked on
cricket immediately :D What a great game! It has reached the Super
8s phase now. Last night there was a thrilling match between South
Africa and Sri Lanka with history being made; first double hat trick
(four wickets in four balls) ever in ODI cricket by Sri Lanka's bowler
Malinga. Sri Lanka lost the game though :-/
So any TJP people watching the World Cup?

Being that I am Aussie, of course I follow the cricket!
Unfortunately most of the Super 8's start at around midnight for us down here, so its a bit hard to catch the end of the games on tele
One of the best sports on Earth!
Although, I much prefer one day format to test format (pretty much the same game as one day, except that instead of 50 overs each, each team gets (broadly speaking) 2 innings each and the game lasts 5 days or so). Test cricket is far slower and more careful, as there is not as much pressure to score quickly and it is much more important not to go out cheaply.
