Japanese drummers in Europe

Postby katafei » Fri 08.17.2007 12:46 pm

Well, I noticed the number of Dutchies on this forum has increased a lot lately, so:
Tao is coming to Europe again.

Last year, their show was very impressive. Full of youthful energy and enthusiasm.
If you have the chance to go see them, you won't be disappointed!

(of course this tip is also meant for other Europeans :) )

have a look

I saw Tao in Milan last year. It was simply awesome. If you can, go...you'll not regret it.

We've got tickets for 2 shows and we're looking forward to it very much!
They are really good, aren't they? Almost in the league of 'Wadaiko Ichiro', but unfortunately, they are not a team anymore.

I've actually been thinking about visiting Tao's residence one day. They've got a hotel in 九州 and give master classes. I would love to have a go at one of them BIG drums!
Thought this would be a great way to have a taste of Japan. Only, according to my Japanese teacher, the dialect spoken in 九州 is very difficult to understand, even for native speakers.
Then again, Tao's drummers seem to come from all over Japan.

So, I don't know.......
