Apparently some people get these leftovers and scrap computer parts etc. to refine the metals out of them and sell for a living.... I bet it is a lot of work though.

making money off scraps is rarely lucrative. People go around grabbing cans from dumpsters and selling them to recycling plants, they do make money, but they could make more money doing something else.

No wonder I work a full time job... *sigh* I used to sell on eBay, my best month was Christams time and I made $350.00 after all the fees and the cost from the suppliers. I sold paintball and sporting goods. And that was with researching and putting up auctions about 70 hours a week.... It was just as stressful as a normal job, if not more.
