Postby Wolfera » Thu 07.26.2007 9:50 pm

Hi everyone. I was wondering if any of you knew what よせよな means? I'm working on a translation of a short piece by Murakami Haruki and he uses this, but I haven't been able to find any real hints to its meaning. I was thinking maybe "So it goes..."

And if you're really feeling up to a challenge, there's also this line in the story:
I think it might be simply jibberish, or otherwise so full of slang that I can't find any of them in a dictionary. I've been all through 早口言葉 websites but I guess it's not an actual tongue-twister...
Thanks!

Welcome to TJP.
