Back in the early 70's when we started out, pen and paper was all that was had, so, not until video games came out would there have been a need to say "pen and paper" But in the mid 80's I do remember hearing that term..richvh wrote:I think we used to call them "pen and paper" RPGs, back in the early computing days.

Yup. Back in the day, I used to work at a P&P RPG company that produced its games solely as CD-based E-Books. Try explaining THAT to a customer. (this was before ebooks were well-known/popular)
