I have a Japanese wii, but no pokemon unfortunately. :/

Can't you just find random opponents online? I know that all the DS games allow you to do so.

I'm going to the game store today, so if I decide to pick it up, I'll post it up here.

Also, do you have Elebits? I've been addicted to that game, and want to start making levels to share with people online. =)
Want to learn Japanese the right way? How about for free?

Harisenbon, i have Elebits too and its one of the fun games out there. i dont have a Japanese wii but it does read japanese(atleast it reads the TJP post and such that have japanese, used the internet trail tho, hopefully it still while at the end of htis month when the full verion comes out)

I'm not a fan of pokemon games, but it might be fun on the wii. Normaly pokemon games are simple and boring(pick this pokemon with these attacks and select them in said order and you win... not really much skill inevolve if you have some "super pokemon"..)

back to the Elebits thing for a bit, Harisenbon,(and anyone esle interested) i would be intereest in making levels to share. American and Japan wiis can link up like that as far as i know. (side note to Harisenbon, what level are you on in Elebits? im on level 28)

I know this is probably a lost cause, but I assume that Japanese Wii games dont work on international (Australian) systems?

Wii is region locked(so you can't play english games on the japanese or the other way) but i think you can do some sort of online type of play with a japanese wii (im not sure about that but you'd think nintendo would atleast let you play with ppl from around the world being you do get an internet channel...)
