Funny. The (Japanese) Office (in Japanese)
If you are a fan of The Office, check out this clip (I think from SNL):

LOL
Have you seen the original The Office with Ricky Gervais or only the USA remake?

I've seen a few episodes of the original English version--and they were very good, but maybe I haven't watched enough of them to make me want to buy the DVD box set yet.

I'm the other way around. After seeing two of the BBC series I saw a couple of episodes of the US version and couldn't get into it.

Both versions are brilliant (to use a British sounding term). When I get back to the States, I'll try to catch the U.K. version.
I really don't watch much TV, but the offbeat humor of The Office was love at first sight. Other than news and the History Channel, it is one of only two programs I watch (the other being 24).

Ha! That was great...on so many levels.
I've only seen an episode or two to the UK version, but I like the US one better. The British one was just too bland, I know that's the point, but it was too much for my tastes.

What was really neat about this Japanese version is the humor is universal. It made the rounds on live journal and I know not many people there understand Japanese. Everyone who saw it including my youngest thought it was hilarious!

Those of us who have experienced one first-hand know exactly how on-point and biting a Japanese edition of "The Office" could really be.
Oh, Lord. The horror.
I'd watch that.
