There is one that I used to like, but the bad acting makes you laugh when someone is about to commit suicide.

Which is bad, it's ガールサー Gal Circle

my favorites are Itoshi Kimi E (2004) and Nodame Cantabile (2006)
right now watching "hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora" which is pretty boring.. :(
and soon will start to watch taiyou no uta, only because of YUI !

YUI is only in the タイヨウのうた movie. She makes no appearance in the drama.

I saw the entire 天体観測 (tentai kansoku, english title - Searching For My Polestar) dorama this weekend. LOVED IT!!! The first episode was a bit slow, but the finale... I cried the entire time. Excellent Dorama :)

My favourite of all time is irreplaceably 金田一少年の事件簿(Kindaichi shounen no jikenbo). Other favourites are Tiger & Dragon and IBWP.

I've seen about 100 Jdorama series. My favourite is Koi ga shitai x 3. Kanno Miho's acting was excellent only bettered by her own performance in Takeshi Kitano's film Dolls.

Though I haven't yet seen the first season of Hana Yori Dango I am enjoying Hana Yori Dango Returns.

Oh, and I watched 'Boku no aruku michi' as well, but that finished a few months ago.

jziemba: The new season of Hana Yori Dango started about four weeks ago, it's on Friday night from 10pm.

Oh, I love doramas. But I really love the thriller type, and there aren't that many of them. I've seen Trick, Keizoku, Midnight Rain, Sleeping Forest, Yasha and A Million Stars Fall From the Sky--that seems to exhause the non-comedy, non-romance doramas. I'm trying to find Unfair subtitled, I saw the first episode of that one and really enjoyed it.

I'd like to watch some of them, to train listening comprehension.
Are there any jdramas not romance/teen girls/jpop oriented? :D

i've seen.. 3... but i really like them now. ^^ the ones i saw were 1リットルの涙, 野ブタ。をプロデュース, and たったひとつの恋. much shorter than korean dramas, so easier to watch.. ;D i used to only watch korean/chinese ones.

i'm making my friend watch them now.. but in exchange i have to watch some indian movies o_o

I loved Hana Yori Dango (1&2) although the plot line was so frustrating. A couple other good doramas are Nurse Aoi and Teru Teru Ashita (at least what I've seen so far, they are still being subbed) :)
