RE: JDramas anyone?
I have been a big fan of Japanese TV dramas for years ( I first got hooked on the shows "house of Women" and Oshin during the early '80s).
Current I am watching "brothers beat", Imo no Tankin (not sure about spelling) and Primadam.
But can someone explain what a "dorama" is?

RE: JDramas anyone?
Dorama is just the Japanese pronunciation of 'drama', and is used to refer to TV dramas in Japanese.

Hum. Ok I might as well list off the ones I've seen so far again. soooo good
Hana Yori Dango(1&2)
Gokusen(1&2)
Taiyou no Uta
Attention Please
1 Litre of Tears
Nodame Cantabile
Ganbatte Ikimashoi

Nobuta wo Produce (I've only seen a litte, but it is still cute!)
I think Hana Yori Dango is my fav with Gokusen not too far behind. Jun Matsumoto is the best!

Some of my favs:
Teru Teru Ashita
Yasashii Jikan <-- REALLY liked that one. I don't see anyone else mention it. I have the soundtrack too, and listen to it all the time. So beautiful, emotional and peaceful.
Kikenna Aneki
Nobuta wo Produce
Gal Circle <-- tons of fun to watch! I have a shot of Shinnosuke as my picture on MSN because it's so funny.
And of course both series of Gokusen...
I also liked Iryu:Team Medical Dragon.
I might have to keep my eyes out for some of the others mentioned in this thread... although I tried watching Hana Yori Dango and practically clawed my own eyes out... I just couldn't bear it... I tried.

RE: JDramas anyone?
My wife and I have watched the first two seasons of Trick. It started off very well, but the second season hasn't quite lived up to the first. We're hoping that season 3 will be better.
I've watched about half of Lunch Queen. It's fairly interesting, though a little too much "who's going to end up with whom".
Lately I've been watching Jikou Keisatsu, about a police officer whose hobby is investigating cases which have gone past the statute of limitations. The "mysteries" are fairly lame but the characters are quite entertaining and make it worth watching.
