Orange Range
Have any of you guys heard of Orange Range? They do the opening theme for Bleach. I really like them. It's kind of a different sound than i'm used to so i find them quite refreshing. Unfortunately, they aren't on iTunes so i can't get any of their songs on my iPod yet. Darn...

I like Orange Range...they combine a lot of different music genres and it is refreshing...
That reminds me of this:
"I love Angelina Jolie. Does anyone else like Angelina Jolie? She has enormous lips!"
-Griff from Red vs. Blue

Everyone knows them in Japan. They do a lot of music for anime it seems.

I miss the Seatbelts
Yes, I know that really didn't have much to do with the topic.

Aren't the Seatbelts usually grouped with Yoko Kanno or Cowboy Bebop?

They did Cowboy Bebop, and I think Trigun.
Mae Yamane is the name I most often associate with them. (Spelling might be off.)

My Itunes has it as Mai Yamane. The only song I have associated with...him/her is The Real Folk Blues from Cowboy Bebop. I haven't watched much Trigun and I haven't listened to the music so I wouldn't be able to confirm or deny that.

見上げた夜空の星たちの光...
Two muffins were baking in an oven. One turns to the other and says "sure is hot in here." The other replies "AH TALKING MUFFIN!"
二つのマフィンがオーブンで焼かれていた。片方のマフィンがもう一方のマフィンに向かって、"暑いね”と言った。すると、話しかけられたほうのマフィンは"アッ!喋るマフィンだ!”と驚いた。 :)

× That was actually Tsuneo Imahori. I don't remember many tracks from Trigun that featured a full jazz band. But the guitar solos were awesome.

Mai Yamane sometimes sings for the Seatbelts. But Yoko Kanno is the composer, arranger, director, producer, and pianist. By my reckoning, that makes Yoko more important.
