"New comments have come in..."

Today, I after I finished composing a reply to a post, I got a notification that (I'm paraphrasing here) "New comments have been posted to this thread since you started typing. You may want to review your post in light of this development". Below that, it showed the post that had come in while I was composing. Neat!

Is this a new feature or have I just not encountered it before? In any event, it's a nice touch and I can see where it will come in very handy on fast-moving topics. Well done!

It's been there all along, but most topics aren't that fast moving. I've run into it a few times. Although I do seem to recall getting ninja'd a few times where I didn't get that warning before I posted. Ah the mysteries of life!
