hi, i did some translations but i have doubts about some of them please check them.
大名（だいみょう）は「ここで待（ま）て。どんなことが起（お）こっても、付（つ）いてきてはいけない」と言（い）いました。

makes no sense to me.

この岩室（いわむろ）の住人（じゅうにん）の力（ちから）とは、私（わたし）を殺（ころ）したければ、兵（へい）が全員（ぜんいん）でかかってもかなわない。この後（あと）の道（みち）は儂（わし）一人（ひとり）で行（い）かなければならん」と大名（だいみょう）は答（こた）えました。

"if the dwellers of that cave are strong,and kill me,
"兵（へい）が全員（ぜんいん）でかかってもかなわない。"
what s kakatte and kanawanai?

they are not written in kanji and i couldnt find them in dictionary.

後（あと）の道??
what does it mean and shouldnt it be "michi no ato"?

even if all my soldiers were attending me, it would make no difference.

what s kakatte and kanawanai?

掛かる and 適う or 敵う, I think; I'm not sure which my proofreader intended when he corrected my original awkward phrasing.
