Can someone help with settings for Japanese language input? I have Microsoft IME installed, language bar is there, so far so good. In hiragana input mode, however, I get the hiragana characters directly and not by US keyboard layout, i.e. hiragana "a" is key "3" not the a-key. My understanding is that there should be a mode to enter romaji and the system converts to hiragana when prompted. How can I do that? Thanks for your help.

restore your language bar. switch to Japanese then unclick the kana button.
