Webcomics
I was wondering if webcomics were anywhere near as prevalent in Japanese as they are in English. I have quite a few I read every day I was just wondering if I could pick up a few to read to practice my Japanese.

Re: Webcomics
Here is a Japan-based web comic list.
However, I've found that most Japanese webcomics are difficult to read unless you have a high level of kanji recognition already. The quality of the artwork scans is usually such that complex kanji aren't well defined even when the image is magnified, and furigana are lacking (and would be difficult to read if present, for the same reason the complex kanji are hard to make out.)

Wow, for some reason it never occurred to me to look for Japanese web comics. Great link, richvh, I've already found something to get hooked on(http://opiumhero.web.fc2.com/frames/frame.html) Very fun so far
