I came to think (Could be dangerous i know, but anyways)... Does any of you read manga, or watch anime. I am crazy about anime/manga... If someone think it is a good idea, maybe Clay could add an anime/manga section for this forum too.

Sounds good. I am afraid I know very little about the world of anime. But lets give it a shot.

i know a lot of people (i think im one of them) are influenced by anime to learn about japanese culture. i know there are a lot of things i've seen on anime that is real in japan. and it is very interesting. so ya. and the J-POP section would be cool too. cuz most all of the music i listen to is Japanese. and i love it!!!

It really won't hurt to increase the font size of the Grammar lessons at http://www.thejapanesepage.com/grammarpage.php so as not to tire out our eyes.

Also, when certain themes, such as Lithium is used, the tiny words at the same Grammar page as mentioned above practically becomes unreadable.

Just one more thing to add, can it be done so that when we post replies in the forum, we can see the entire thread. This makes it more convenient for us as we can see the post that we are trying to answer to as we are doing the answering. This also saves the trouble to constantly press the "back" button to refer back to the post again and again.

Japanese Pop culture is often incorrectly translated in american culture and I belive a J Pop culture section would be awsome!

I noticed there's a "Photo Gallery" link, but it doesn't have many photos. Maybe members could submit photos of Japan/Japanese things...

off the top of my head,I find the fact that you don't include usage distinctions for the "I" and "you" lists on the front page incredibly annoying, as some of these are not included in my dictionaries.

not that I'm bringing it up to be a pest or anything, but you did ask......

Also, I have a huge Japanese music collection { well maybe not that big compared to other collectors, as it's only a couple hundred CDs ;-)

Anyway, I'd be happy to contribute to a J-music section if you wanted help for one. Could even hook you up with people who have actual huge collections, much larger than mine, if you wanted.

Fair warning though:

J. Pop Is Not Anime Music!

Wars have been started for less, and quite a few people are militarily adamant on this point.

This on-line Japanese music radio station, aside from being the absolute best to my personal opinion, is supposed to have the highest numbers for active Japanese listeners -- so they must be doing something right :-)

http://www.j-fan.com/radio/

It will give you an idea of what mainstream Japanese music sounds like . It's almost nothing like anime music:and although there's nothing wrong with anime music intrinsically -- it's just not the same thing.
