Re: Jokes about learning Japanese
The "don't touch my moustache" one appears in Street Fighter Alpha 3 as one of Sodom's win quotes: "Don't thank me. In fact, 'don't touch my moustache'!" (Sodom is basically an American who desperately wants to be Japanese, but hasn't a clue about how to go about it properly, so he butchers Japanese phrases.)
The Japanese version of the game (called Street Fighter Zero 3) took this even further. For example, one of his victory quotes was, "Die job death car?"

知り合いの娘さんが3歳のころ、天気予報(weather forecast)を見て、
「ママ~、あしたは『とら』が降るって! こわいよ~」
と怯えていた。
ある意味、頭いいよね?

Re: Jokes about learning Japanese
That reminds me of joking exchanges we used to talk about as newbies like the following:
Clerk: いらっしゃいませ!
Customer:いらっしゃいました。
A: おはようございます。
B: ええ、おはようございましたね。
Clerk: いらっしゃいませ!
Customer:いらっしゃいました。
A: おはようございます。

An oldie but a goodie. Shin-chan does this joke quite a few times in the クレヨンしんちゃん series.

Once I was staying in a hostel in Kyoto, and I heard an Indian man tell the clerk "ありがとうございません"

On an oral exam I once had a student respond to 日本語を上手ですね with とんでもございます!
Also 申し訳ございます/あります is a common mistake.

Thank you.![]()
I was trying to find what specifically you are referring to? English word puzzles, or English word games, or?
I just happened on this part of this Web site, otherwise I'd have offered an answer earlier.
