Thanks mate. Been a bit busy lately.
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

No worries, mate! Just feeling a bit lonely, being the minority around TJP. It's good to see another Aussie every now and then.

LOL wow don't I feel like a jackass right now. Well at least Johnny Depp's American and that's all that really matters
Two muffins were baking in an oven. One turns to the other and says "sure is hot in here." The other replies "AH TALKING MUFFIN!"
二つのマフィンがオーブンで焼かれていた。片方のマフィンがもう一方のマフィンに向かって、"暑いね”と言った。すると、話しかけられたほうのマフィンは"アッ!喋るマフィンだ!”と驚いた。 :)

It reminds me of when director Brian Singer mistook Hugh Laurie as a shining example of an excellent American actor.

Of course this was because Hugh Laurie can do such an excellent American accent that he easily passes for a native. It's always interesting for me to see him out of character speaking in his native accent.
I think another example of interesting use of accents is Masi Oka, who plays Hero Nakamura on the tv show Heroes. On the show whenever he speaks English, it is very broken with a strong Japanese accent (or he just speaks in Japanese). However, in real life he speaks perfectly fluent natural English (with a maybe barely noticeable accent).

And if you had watched Inglorious Basterds, you might have noticed how fluently Christoph Waltz (he plays the SS col. Landa) speaks several language. He's Austrian and speaks a very good French and English with just a tidbit of an accent. His Italian is not so good: I had to rely on the English subtitles.
Then Brad Pitt (trying to) speaking Italian: priceless.

I can't argue with that logic
