ゑ&ゐ

I know that the kana for "we" and "wi" are obsolete, but are there any Japanese words that start with うぇ or うぃ. And I mean words of Japanese origin. Just curious. mmmm curiosity--yummers.

Not that I know of. Definately not any in everyday speech. However, there is a beer called Yebisu ヱビス Which uses a currently unused kana.
