Excel JLPT 4/3/2 kanji quiz thing
this looks really neat for Windows people. it's an Excel spreadsheet application that quizes you on the kanji and their pronounciations...
http://www.chuobunkyo.jp/japanese.php
This software tests your knowledge of the pronunciations of kanji, and really helps you remember the meanings and the pronunciations of the words of the JLPT.
...
The important point of the software is that the 'green kanji' will fade progressively to an almost white color, simulating your forgetting process. The more often you test a kanji and get all pronunciations correct, the slower the green color will fade (see help for details).
Therefore, the 'All Kanji' table really maps your memory of kanji and prompts you to keep revising.
...
When the table stays dark green for a long time, it means you will definitely pass the kanji part of the JLPT... And you can now move to the next level !

Yes, it seems really useful, but i downloaded one, and it won't work for me. It says an .slx file is missing, or something.

Daisuke-san,
You might not have Microsoft Excel installed...have you? If so then maybe it needs to be updated...

Make sure you follow all the instructions~ I haven't tried mine yet, but I remember seeing a "do this first" kind of thing on the site. And I think it said you need Excel 2000.
I know these are stupid things to say... ): Sorry... it's kinda like:
[calls computer tech for help]
Guy: "My computer won't turn on."
Tech: "Did you try pushing the 'power' button?" >_<

I wasn't implying that you are. ): Actually, I was implying the opposite... that *I* was the stupid tech-guy that asks the stupid questions of the completely competent guy who called for help... Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you; I was just offering the idea I had. I guess I put it in a rather stupid way. Again, I'm sorry.
