Need help with a Transalation

Hello,
I'm new to this forum, so please pardon me if I sound stupid in here. I need some help with a Translation. Someone I know is in need of some Kanji to be translated that he has on a painting his family gave to him. If anyone in here can help, both of us would be grateful beyond belief.
Here's the image of the kanji in question.
