you're breaking up your verbs strangely, and that's why you're having the issues, I believe.

したい is a single word that means "to want to do" it comes from the verb します "to do."

いきたい is a single word that means "to want to go" it comes from the verb いきます "to go"

To make a verb into it's "want to" form, you drop the ます and add たい so します becomes したい and いきます becomes いきたい

Does that help?

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite sure what you're asking in your second question.

The shitai is because it is the conjugation of suru.
The "kute" is how you conjugate an i-adj as opposed to a na-adj.

Benkyou is a noun in Japanese. When you want to verbify a noun you have to add suru to it. So Benkyou suru. Shitai is the the masu form of suru Shi(masu)+tai. Remember than nouns never conjugate only adjectives and verbs. So Benkyou shitai = (literal) want to do study.

iku is a verb so it can be modified directly.

The important point is just because a word is a noun, adjective, or verb in English doesn't mean that word is the same part of speech in Japanese. Also a transitive verb in English might be intransitive in Japanese. When you learn a word be very determined to learn how it is used in Japanese.

Shinsetsu is a -na adjective. Put another way. A -na adjective is a noun that can be used as an adjective by adding -na. So if shinsetsu has no -na it is a noun not an adjective. I don't think you can string a -na adjectives together like true adjectives so therefore the de.

atarashikute - when you string true adjectives together they need to be in -te form. atarashikute is the -te form of atarashii.

I might get corrected though so be ready for it.

Edit- Harisenbon replied while I was typing. Figures. I'm just going to leave this anyway.

hmm what about かれは曙ワさいだけれどまじめです

and

きびしけれどゆうきのあるにんです

both taikeredo and keredo are = but

then why use them differently in the above sentences? is it because of noun and verb problem?

You're reading the sentence wrong. First there is no taikeredo. It is Da, keredo. Keredo is being used as a conjunction. Da is the end of the first part of the sentence.
