It's not that I'm not knowledgeable, I just have trouble explaining the things I know ;)

On a side note they do have Pizza and cheese Burgers (at Mickey dee's and Mos Burger) so I doubt your idea of the Japanese not liking cheese is a generalization. Not to mention those things at Mc Donalds called "Munchers" or "Dunkers" that are pure deep fried cheese served with that sauce.
Buffalo sauce recipe
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 squeezed lemon
Shake a Tabasco bottle liberally into mix
Add a couple shakes of pepper
a short shake of salt
Throw wings into large bowl with above mixture(after cooking wingS they should be fried but baking is OK too) toss and serve.
Serve with Blue Cheese dressing for dipping with Celery Stalks on the side

I always point out the same can be said about cheese. Some idiot one day saw some milk that went bad and ate it.

I don't like unmelted American cheese. It's icky & the thought that I used to eat it like a piece of candy is disgusting. Has anyone ever noticed that? The things that you once hated you now like or liked you hate?

The consumption of cheese( especially natural cheese) rapidly increased over the last 15years.
The cheese price in Japan have risen recently because China expands cheese import from New Zealand, Australia, and other countries. The amount of import became triple in 3 years in China. (2002: 2533 ton → 2004:7250 ton) Some Experts say Chinese dietary pattern will become more westernize until Beijing Olympic，Expo in Shanghai.
I am afraid that cheese price in Japan will rise more.
