I grew up in Indiana, and I heard it. <shrug>
Is it safe to assume that even where you're from in Indiana, the phrase "going on vacation" is still more commonly used than "going on a holiday"? If I was to randomly hear the latter from an American, I would assume they just got asked "When are you going?"

it is never safe to assume. that's like walking in front of a pissed off bull. He might charge you, he might not. Are you willing to take the risk?

No! I never necropost!
I'm not that annoyed by necroposting as long as the title is informative. For example, I knew this thread was old even before I came into it because I remembered the title, but if someone were to necropost on a thread called "help!!!" how on earth would you know if the thread is old?
And if the revived thread contains the word "naruto" not associated with the word "hate" (or something like that), then I start losing my sanity.
you see there is an art to necroposting. the best necroposter does so and causes much sanity loss. I applaud a good necromancy of a random thread that makes people angry all over again.. those are the best.
