Hey there, just so you know, you shouldn't use "Jap" as a short form for Japanese. some people might find it offensive. Anyway, good luck with your meeting

Thanks for the input, but ill continue to use it. I dont find it offensive but a rather handy abbreviation. Japanese Language is a long phrase and Jap Lang is easier on my fingers.
Its easy to see by the context it was used that it wasnt meant to be offensive. Now had I titled my post, "Japs sure do love noodles", I would consider that offensive. Very offensive, actually.
