about memorizing kanji ...

hi everybody , nice weather today
as a beginner is a little hard for me to remember words in kanji
since i keep my pc on when i'm home i thought that maybe was a good idea to
use the 3d text screen saver to write a kanji word as long as it takes for me to get
familiarized with it and keep changing them
but dosn't seem to work , i enter the romaji , no problem
but kanji ..doesn't seem to work
is there anything i can do to write kanji in the 3d text screen saver

Umm...this should be called about screensavers. But I just tried it and it works for me. I guess the first thing to get out of the way is do you have the IME installed?

sidenote: Kanji Gold has a feature that "automatically flips through kanji and/or compounds while you are using other programs." I haven't use it, but it sounds like it does what you want in a better way.

thank you so much i'm not very good with computers but i have activated the
japanese language so i can write without problem
in the menu on top i can see the IME PAD option
what should i do now ..i'm sorry to be a bother

If you know the hiragana for the kanji you can type it out. Hold alt then press shift to switch between Japanese and English. When you're in the Japanese keyboard you can hold alt and hit ~ to switch between our alphabet and kana. In the kana mode you can just spell out the kanji, and hit spacebar!
