Any Good Word Processors with Furigana

Hey there,

First off, sorry if this isn't posted exactly where it's supposed to be, but it's kind of a strange category.

Anyhow, I have a couple of word processors, I have Wakan and NJStar.
I find that each has it's own pros and cons. I have found that using them i sync really works best.

Now, what i like is that in my Wakan Word Processor, it adds furigana to all the kanji. The only problem? When i copy and paste, all but the kanji is lost. The furigana on each kanji doesn't paste over.

So, my questin is, does anyone know if it's somehow possible to get the furigana to paste with the kanji, or:

If anybody knows of a good word processor that allows for this?

Open Office and Word both support furigana for certain.

I've never used wakan, but I am going to guess that when you're highlighting the text and hitting copy, it doesn't capture the furigana (sometimes called "ruby text") information. If it's not copied with the rest of the text, the type of processor you're pasting into won't matter.

If all else fails, you can resort to manually inserting readings after kanji in parentheses instead. Hope someone with wakan can give you more complete answers.

For Word you need Word 2000 or above. Word 97 doesn't support furigana.

I use furigana in both Open Office and Word 2003.

Copy/paste within and between documents in Open Office preserves the furigana.

In both Word and Open Office Writer, Asian Support has to be enabled before the option to add furigana appears.

Word will semi-automatically add furigana (select a section of text, Format->Asian Layout->Phonetic Guide and furigana will appear above the kanji, which you can edit if the wrong reading was chosen.) With Open Office, you have to manually add all furigana, so far as I know.

I tried to figure out how to do this in Word 2007 for 30 minutes to no avail.

I figured out how to add furigana in word on one of my exploration phases. But I don't know how to edit the furigana if it happens to be wrong. I haven't explored that yet.
